Wanderers WFC

The Northern Territory Women's Football League (now the AFL Northern Territory Women's Premier League) got underway in 2004 but Wanderers did not commence until the 2013/14 season. Second from bottom of the ladder on debut they showed swift improvement, finishing third in 2014/15 before reaching their first and, to date, only grand final the following season. Opposed by Waratahs they put up a stern challenge but in the end fell short by 3 straight kicks. In 2016/17 the Eagles again contested the finals but their premiership challenge was emphatically derailed by St. Mary's in the first semi final leaving them in fourth position. The next two seasons both brought eighth place finishes on the nine team premiership ladder.
